Hello from Hamilton, Canada. Yes, I’m back home after a wild and stretching seven months. Just like the first six months, the last one was just as crazy, maybe even the craziest yet. Before I get into it all, I just want to take a moment to thank God for His constant provision. Without Him, none of this would have been possible. But I also want to thank you. Your prayers and financial support have made this mission's journey possible. Everything I have shared, and everything I’m about to share, is possible because of you. You have partnered with God in bringing the Gospel and the Kingdom to seven different countries, and I am so grateful.
Poland
After leaving Denmark, where I had the chance to share testimonies and encourage a church community, I flew to Poland. I spent two weeks partnering with a local church in Zduńska Wola, where I was asked to preach, share testimonies, disciple young people, and speak about Jesus in local schools.
The first night I arrived, I was asked to share my story at an evening service. Afterwards, a young woman approached me and told me how encouraged she was by my story. As we talked, I felt the Spirit leading me to share more—about how God wanted to encounter her too and activate her into what He had created her to do. Pretty soon, we were surrounded by about fifteen other young adults, all listening, hungry to hear more about Jesus. You could see their faith growing as we spoke.
Later that week, on Tuesday, I was invited to speak at an Alpha gathering with non-Christian youth. I shared the story of the woman at the well from John 4 and my journey through failure and loneliness. I spoke about how Jesus sets us free from our past. After I finished, one of the young girls responded and gave her life to Jesus!
The next morning, we started ministry in the local schools. Our goal was to share our DTS experiences, talk about what God was doing in the nations, and invite students to hear more about Jesus. We were blown away by the hunger of the students and teachers we met. At the first school, a teacher approached us afterwards, crying. She said, “I believed in God, but now I know Jesus is real!” We prayed over her, speaking life into her. Then she asked, “Does God only do this in Muslim nations?” which led to a powerful conversation about God moving all over the world. At another school, over twenty students and staff came up afterwards, asking about the church’s youth ministries and how to know Jesus personally. At the next school, two students approached us, asking questions. By the time we left Poland, both had given their lives to Jesus! And at the final school, we saw an entire classroom awakened. At first, most students seemed uninterested, but when one student asked a question about my journey with God, more and more of them started leaning in. Then the teacher asked me about healing, which led me to share testimonies of the healings I’ve witnessed. By the end, every single student was fully engaged, eager to hear more about Jesus.
The biggest move of God we saw happened at a mini-conference we ran at the local church café on Tuesday and Wednesday of our last week. We had live music, poetry, and my friend and I shared our stories about how Jesus has changed our lives. Over one hundred students came, many from the schools we had spoken at, and many encountered Jesus. In those two days, over 15 people gave their lives to Jesus, people were set free, and many were drawn closer to Him. So many of them had grown up hearing about Jesus, but they wanted to know if He was real, and if He was, did He really love them? Jesus showed up and made Himself known. It was incredible to be a part of.
By the time I left Poland, over 500 hundred people had heard the Gospel, more than 20 people had given their lives to Jesus, and countless others had encountered the power and love of God. We simply shared the Gospel boldly and testified about what Jesus had done in our lives, and He did the rest.
Scotland
After Poland, I was invited to join Neighbours and Nations (another YWAM team) in Glasgow from March 28-29 for their big SEND event. I arrived on the 28th at 8 am and jumped straight into street evangelism and prayer ministry. That day we saw numerous salvations and many people encountered God’s love.
Then, on the 29th, we helped run the biggest Christian youth gathering in Scotland in over 30 years! Over 3000 people gathered. That day, we saw countless people give their lives to Jesus, many were set free from sin and addiction, numerous people were healed, and hundreds committed to sharing the Gospel in their nation and to the rest of the world. It was incredible to witness Jesus move in such power.
God’s Provision
One of the biggest miracles I’ve seen over the last six weeks is God’s provision. I had been praying for a way to do ministry in Ukraine after March 8, but that door had been closed. Almost immediately afterwards, God opened a door to go to Poland. But I had almost no money left. So I prayed. That same week, I received $400 in unexpected gifts. Then, I found out someone had agreed to cover all my expenses in Poland. I was floored, and I couldn’t believe it. Later, in Denmark, I was invited to Scotland, but again, I had no money to go. I prayed, and soon after, someone reached out and offered me exactly the amount I needed to make that trip possible. Then, while sitting in a McDonald’s in Denmark, unable to buy food, I prayed again. Less than 36 hours later, I received another $400 donation, covering my remaining ministry expenses. Time and time again, God provided when I had no way to do so myself. If you’re reading this and you need provision in your life, I want to encourage you to call out to Jehovah Jireh. He is a Father who loves to provide for His children. Just as He provided for me in my need, I believe He wants to provide for you.
What’s Next?
For the next six months, I’ll be back home in Hamilton, Canada. I’ll be serving with YWAM Lampstand, continuing outreach and ministry work in my hometown. I’ll also be working another job to help cover my school expenses, while also preparing and fundraising to hopefully return to London in the fall to join YWAM Neighbours and Nations full-time; where we will do more Send Events and tour the UK preaching the Gospel and inviting people into the great commission.
Please pray for Hamilton, that God will continue to move through YWAM Lampstand. Pray for provision, that God will stir hearts to partner with His work, as I fundraise for the next season of ministry. Lastly, pray for guidance as I press in and seek His direction for what’s next.
Thank you again for your support, prayers, and generosity. Lives have been transformed because of you. If you feel led to support my long-term mission work, please reach out. I’d love to chat and share my vision with you and how you can partner with what God is doing.
Grace and peace,
Cameron
