Happy New Year!

We’ve now been in Albania for four weeks, and our time in Vlorë has been such a blessing. We have had three incredible contacts, who arranged for us to participate in a variety of ministries across the city. These include youth and young adults’ ministry, children’s ministry, elderly ministry, disabilities ministry, mercy ministry, evangelism, worship, prayer and intercession, and even building projects. In many of these ministries, we’ve had the opportunity to share the Gospel and our testimonies. As a result, many believers have been encouraged, countless seeds have been planted, and we’ve even celebrated one salvation!

One of the most impactful ministries we’ve been a part of is a children’s ministry in a nearby village. Many of these children come from very poor backgrounds and are often exposed to physical and verbal abuse. Historically, these kids have faced significant challenges—early marriages, limited education, and a cycle of poverty that often continues across generations.

For the past three Saturdays, we’ve partnered with a local church to minister to these children. Together, we’ve been able to provide Christmas gifts (shoeboxes), fun activities, snacks, and most importantly, the Gospel and the love of Jesus. It’s been amazing to witness the transformation in these children week after week. When we first arrived, many kids acted out through fighting or poor behaviour—perhaps as a way to get attention. But as the weeks went on, we noticed tremendous improvement. They began to understand that they were loved for who they were, not for what they did. They didn’t need to act out to earn our affection, they simply had to receive it. This experience has been a powerful reminder of God’s love for us. He welcomes us with open arms and loves us unconditionally.

We’ve now moved to the capital city, Tiranë, where we’ll continue ministering for another seven weeks. We’re living in a predominantly Muslim neighbourhood, focusing on prayer, worship, and evangelism. Please pray that God will use us to bring His light into this area. Pray that we’ll preach the Gospel with boldness and power and that we’ll see a spiritual shift in the neighbourhood.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support. I am continually blessed by your encouragement.

Grace and Peace,

Cameron
