God Desires to Meet Us Personally

Revival doesn’t start in stadiums, it starts as God meets one person at a time.
I’ve been realizing more and more how intentionally He pursues people, one life at a time. Coming into this season, I was excited for the big gatherings, the moments where crowds would encounter God and many would respond to the Gospel. Yet the moments that have impacted me most are the quiet, one-to-one encounters: conversations on the streets, prayers in small rooms, and the simple yet profound ways individuals meet Jesus.
Yes, God is stirring revival across England, but even more, He’s reviving hearts in ordinary, day-to-day places, through small steps of obedience, quiet faith, and simple courage. From Brighton to London, Cardiff to Norwich, and Leeds to Newcastle, I’ve watched Him meet people in classrooms, cafés, and on street corners. Not with noise or flash, but with His presence.
If This Is Real, I Will Give My Life
One of my favourite moments this season happened in a school in Hastings. One of our teams was invited to speak about what it means to follow Jesus and live as a missionary. At the end of class, a boy hesitated, then asked, “Do you think God could heal my shoulder?”
My friend said boldly, “Yes, I believe He can.” After asking the teacher for permission, she invited him to place his hand on his shoulder and repeat, “In Jesus’ name, be healed.”
He said the words quietly, then paused. Slowly, he moved his arm, and the pain he had felt for six months was gone. Shocked, he exclaimed, “What just happened to my shoulder?”
What we didn’t know was that before the prayer, he had said to himself, “If this is real, I’m going to give my life to this.” That day, God met him personally, not through a stage or spotlight, but through a simple, childlike act of faith. The boy gave his life to Jesus and began sharing what God had done with his classmates.
Across the UK
This pattern of personal encounter has been unfolding wherever our teams go:
In Bradford, nearly 20 people decided to follow Jesus during street evangelism. Many had never shared their faith before, yet hearts opened and lives were changed.
In Burgess Hill, I taught two eighty-year-olds to share the Gospel. For the first time, they spoke with strangers about Jesus. One turned to me afterward and said, “It’s so simple, it’s just talking to people and loving them.”
That same group inspired others to act boldly. The next day, a group of young boys went to their university campus and gave away over 60 Bibles.
In Cardiff, we partnered with Firestarters. Students were encouraged, identities restored, people healed, and faith came alive. One young man came forward asking for freedom from sin; by the end, he was marked with the joy and peace of the Lord.
In Norwich, we prayed with university students and local believers, encouraging young leaders stepping into their callings. One friend felt prompted to street preach, and within twenty seconds, a woman ran up asking for prayer and to know Jesus.
Together, these moments paint a picture of what God is doing across the UK: the quiet revival is here.
Across all our tours, our team witnessed:
Over 1,000 people gathered across the UK and Ireland
Over 50 commitments to Christ
Around 20 healings
50 rededications
Countless personal stories of peace, freedom, and restored purpose
Meeting Him in the Everyday
Lately, I’ve been rereading the Torah, and one theme keeps drawing me in is the relentless, personal love of God. Time and again, He pursues a broken and flawed people who don’t deserve His mercy. Despite Israel repeatedly turning away, they remain His chosen people, in whom He delights. God desires to dwell with His people and will do anything to make that a reality, even giving His Son for us.
That same heart of pursuit is revealed on the cross. Jesus took the curse of death upon Himself so that we could be reconciled to God and experience the same intimate relationship He has with the Father. God’s desire has always been the same: to dwell with us, meet us personally, and restore our hearts.
This relentless, faithful love is not just a story from the past; it is His heart for you today. He is still pursuing ordinary people, meeting us where we are, and inviting us into a relationship that is intimate, life-giving, and transformative. He doesn’t wait for us to be perfect or ready; He simply wants us to show up with open hearts. If we take one step toward Him, He will take a thousand steps toward us.
So today, I ask you: will you step toward Him? Will you let God meet you personally, in the midst of your ordinary, messy, beautiful life? One prayer, one act of obedience, one moment of surrender can open the door to encounter Him in ways you could never imagine.
Prayer Requests
SEND Events – We are running mass gatherings in Cardiff, London, and Leeds, where the Gospel will be proclaimed, young people mobilized into the Great Commission, and teams will head out to share Jesus on the streets.
Upcoming Ministry Tours in Europe – Teams will soon head to the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Latvia, and Poland. I will be joining the team in the Netherlands.
I am so grateful for your prayers as we continue to pursue the UK and Europe in the coming months. Your support fuels everything we do, and it makes a real difference as we seek to reach the one.
If you have a moment, I would love to hear how you are doing and pray for you personally. Please don’t hesitate to reach out. I would be honoured to connect and journey in prayer with you.
Grace and Peace,
Cameron
