God's Writing a New Story in Europe

If you had asked me two years ago what I would be doing with my life, I never would have imagined I would be part of the next story God is writing. Growing up, I read about missionaries and revivalists like Jim Elliot and John Wesley, who stepped into God’s call with courage and faith. I never imagined living this kind of story myself, walking in a place God intentionally prepared, as He stirs revival across Europe.
Last Thursday, I sat in the back of a worship night watching God move in the lives of hundreds of young people, and I could not help but wonder, "How did I get here?" In that moment, God’s love washed over me and reminded me of His faithfulness through every step of this journey, through every high and low, and how He has led me to this very place.
There were many days in the last two years when I questioned God and what He was asking of me. Frustration and tears were common, and at times, it did not make sense. But seeing God’s hand move in real time, changing lives, stirring hearts, and bringing healing, reminded me that He is faithful even when the path is unclear.
In this season, Psalm 23 has struck me deeply. “The Lord is my shepherd, I have all I need.” Even in uncertainty, He leads, protects, and provides. And even in the hardest moments, God is not only guiding and protecting us. He is our ultimate reward. As He said to Abraham, “I am your shield and great reward.” Every life changed, every healing, every student stepping into God’s calling is proof of His presence and provision. In life’s struggles, He continually reminds me that He is all I need, the greatest reward and the pearl of great price. Even if I never see another salvation, or if I find myself in situations I would not choose, it is all worth it because I have Him.
The SEND
At our recent SEND event in London, about half the room went into the city to share the gospel. Two young men encountered a man battling addiction who was ready to end his life. As they boldly shared about Jesus, he broke down crying. Earlier that day, he had been planning how to take his life, but in that moment, he gave his life to Jesus, and God’s transforming power was evident immediately.
He left his beer behind, crushed the drugs hidden in his boot, and moments later was running to join the others, telling anyone he could find on the streets how Jesus had just changed his life. By the end of the night, filled with a new hope, he exclaimed, “I have not smiled like this in months. I want to do what you guys do. I want to be a missionary.”
A Generation of Dutch Students Arising
Over the past two weeks, we sent five teams to Germany, Poland, Sweden, Latvia, and the Netherlands, and God moved in incredible ways.
In the Netherlands, our tour spanned from the south to Amsterdam and into the north. From the first event, I was amazed at what God was doing. We witnessed unprecedented unity as churches of all kinds came together, conservative and charismatic, traditional and modern. There were no divisions, no labels, only Jesus.
At that first event, two young men who had barely set foot in a church showed up. They were only there because one of the boy's dads encouraged him to go, and he invited his friend along. That night, both surrendered their lives to Jesus, and they were even asking to be baptised on the spot. It was only the beginning of what God would do across the tour.
At another event, God moved powerfully. At times, Dutch students can be hard to read, often reserved and stone-faced, but my friend boldly preached what God had placed on his heart, despite what we were seeing. When he asked if anyone wanted to make a personal decision to follow Jesus, thirty-four students stood at once, committing their lives to Christ. Alongside these salvations, we witnessed seven physical healings. Students dealing with chronic pain and injuries, including knees, shoulders, and torn ligaments, were healed during prayer. A room that had felt quiet and reserved suddenly erupted with joy as many of these Dutch youth began dancing and praising the Lord.
At our final event, God’s power was on full display again. Multiple healings took place, but one stood out. The girl leading worship had been in excruciating pain for months, relying on painkillers every six hours just to function. That night, she forgot to take them before worship and began leading in intense pain. During a healing call, a team member prayed for her, and instantly the pain vanished. What had been a level 10 pain dropped to 0 in a moment.
These encounters were deeply personal and relational. Students began stepping into their gifts, sharing their faith, and experiencing God in tangible ways. Many left with a new boldness and clarity about how God wanted to use them, and several even shared dreams about becoming missionaries, including one girl who returned the next day, saying she had dreamed of serving long-term in India. Seeing lives transformed, hearts awakened, and faith ignited reminded me again that God is moving powerfully across Europe, and that this is only the beginning of the story He is writing.
Looking Ahead
These stories are not isolated. They are part of a larger movement God is stirring across Europe. Some call it a quiet revival, but I believe this is only the beginning. God is equipping ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things and inviting us all to step boldly into what He is doing.
Through it all, I am continually reminded of His shepherding and leadership. He leads, protects, and provides even when the path does not make sense. He is our ultimate reward, our great shield, and our all-sufficient Shepherd. He is all we need, and our great reward. Every life changed, every healing, and every bold step of faith is proof of His presence and provision. Seeing students transformed, hearts awakened, and faith ignited is a vivid reminder that we are living in a moment God has been preparing and that He is faithful to meet every need as we follow Him into the next chapter of this story.
As I look toward December, I would deeply appreciate your prayers for our continued work across Europe. I will be heading home for Christmas in a week, and I will return at the end of the month for our SEND Young Adults Weekend, a three-day gathering of prayer, worship, teaching, and community that equips young adults for missional living. Please pray for safety, rest, and hearts ready to encounter God in fresh ways. We are living in the next story God is writing, and I cannot wait to see what He does next.
Grace and Peace,
Cameron
