New Year, Fresh Encounter

Happy New Year!
I hope you had an incredible Christmas and New Year. The past few weeks were marked by rest, joy, and meaningful time with friends and family.
I had the opportunity to drive to Georgia with my parents to celebrate the wedding of my first cousin once removed, and I was also able to reconnect with my best friend who recently moved there. It was a grounding and life-giving time of family, connection, and shared memories.
Returning to the UK, the pace shifted quickly. Within an hour of landing, we were making final preparations for our Young Adults Gathering, and the weekend that followed was deeply encouraging and refreshing. It became a space of genuine encounter, fresh relationships, and clear invitation into what God is doing in this season. The theme that carried through the weekend was simple and weighty: God desires to free us from our past, meet us afresh, and send us out again.
During one worship session, the Lord highlighted a young man standing beside me. As we prayed together, it became clear he had been carrying a sense of disqualification from a calling God had placed on his heart to serve in East Asia, particularly Japan. The Lord reminded him that the cross is sufficient, that past failure does not define future obedience, and that He Himself is faithful to call and send. It was a holy moment of personal encounter and recommissioning. Our final conversation that weekend was about a scouting trip to Japan, providing a real opportunity for him to take the next step in the calling God has given him.
Throughout the weekend, many shared testimonies of encountering God through worship, teaching, and prayer. For some, it was the first time they experienced the tangible presence of God. For others, it was an awakening to the reality that they can hear His voice and pray in step with what He places on their hearts. There was a clear sense that God is stirring hunger, obedience, and courage in this generation.
Moments like these give language to what God is doing across Europe right now, and it is a privilege to share in it together with you through prayer, encouragement, and support.
Prayer
As we step into this new season, I would deeply value your prayers:
That my heart and life would remain open for God to dwell and move freely
For our team as we begin touring again at the end of the month, and as we plan for the year ahead
