Hey friends,

I hope your summer is going well. These past few weeks in Hamilton have been powerful reminders that God is present and moving.

We’ve seen a few quiet but undeniable breakthroughs recently, and I wanted to share a couple stories that have deeply encouraged our community. I hope they encourage you too.

From Limping to Dancing

At one of our recent Friday Night Prayer Gatherings, a woman arrived as she had a few times before, leaning heavily on her daughter for support. She couldn’t stand or walk on her own and was clearly in pain.

For over 20 years, she had suffered from advanced osteoarthritis in her knees: bone-on-bone, constant pain, limited mobility, and many sleepless nights. She relied completely on a walker to get around.

That night, someone in the room shared a word of knowledge, a sense that God wanted to heal someone’s leg. A few of us gathered to pray with her. After we finished, she looked up and said, “The pain is gone.” She stood slowly to test it, then began to walk. Moments later, she was walking freely around the room, celebrating and high-fiving people. She ended the night worshipping and dancing, having walked in with a limp and left praising her King.

Restored Feeling and Freedom

Just last week, another woman came to our gathering in an electric wheelchair. She was experiencing intense back pain and had zero feeling in one foot due to long-term nerve damage. Because of the age of our building, accessibility is a challenge. Two of us helped her carefully up the stairs and sat her near the entrance.

Later that night, the power went out, and due to the heat, she needed to leave early. As we helped her outside, someone from the prayer team felt led to pray for her. So we paused, gathered, and simply asked Jesus to bring healing. The moment we finished, she looked up and said, “I can feel His hand on my foot.” She hadn’t felt anything in it for years. Her back pain was also completely gone. With help, she stood up and began walking outside, full of gratitude and awe at what God had just done.

These are just two of many moments I’ve been privileged to witness up close. God is still moving, still speaking, and still drawing people to Himself. I’m grateful to be part of what He’s doing here and excited for what lies ahead.

Personal Update

On the home front, we’ve welcomed a new addition to the family: Beau. He’s brought a lot of life and laughter into the house already.

I’m also currently about 60% funded for my return to the UK this fall with YWAM. Thank you to everyone who has already partnered with me in this journey.

Prayer Requests

Here are a few ways you can be praying:

  • Full Funding: I’ll be in Florida in two weeks to continue support-raising. Please pray I reach 100% ($4,000 CAD/month) by September 8, which would cover all ministry and living expenses for my next season in the UK.

  • EveryHeart Missions Team: Next week we’re hosting a YWAM team called EveryHeart Movement here in Hamilton. Please pray that:

    • God prepares hearts in the city to receive the Gospel

    • Young people would be awakened to live boldly for Jesus

    • And that the message of Jesus would go out clearly through worship, outreach, and conversation.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support. I’m deeply grateful to be walking this journey with such a faithful community behind me.

Blessings,

Cameron Lofthouse
