What God Can Do With One Conversation

At one of our recent events, our team spoke at an assembly in a local high school. During the assembly, we met a girl who was already part of a local church but had never personally made her faith her own. As the Gospel was shared, she responded and gave her life to Jesus for the first time.

That same evening, she joined us at an event at a local church and brought her boyfriend. He had been a Christian in the past but had walked away from God. That night, he rededicated his life to Christ, and in that moment experienced the healing presence of God, bringing him into a new level of freedom and forgiveness he had not known before.

The following day, both of them joined us again, this time for street evangelism.

It was clear that their encounter with Jesus had changed everything. The boyfriend, who had been distant from his faith just days earlier, was now openly and boldly sharing the Gospel with people on the street. What had been brokenness and hesitation was replaced with conviction, healing, and a genuine desire to see others come to know Jesus.

She also stepped into that same boldness. Throughout the afternoon, she shared her testimony and the Gospel on the streets, and in those conversations, three girls chose to give their lives to Jesus.

From one conversation at a lunchtime gathering, we are reminded again how God often does far more than we could plan or imagine, taking what seems small and unfolding it into something much greater than we could see in the moment.

It has been really encouraging to see God consistently at work as we step out in boldness and trust Him with what only He can do. At the same time, it is a simple reminder that He often chooses to work through ordinary conversations when we are willing to be present and available. What may feel small or unnoticed can become part of something far beyond us.

Life Update

On a more personal note, my dad was able to visit England for the first time, which was really special. We spent time exploring London and Oxford, and even got to watch a Premier League match together. I also had one of my best friends, Philemon, stop by on his way back from an outreach, which made it extra special as it happened around my birthday.

On the base, we’ve stepped into a new quarter. In the past two weeks, we have welcomed new staff and trainees, and also sent out a Discipleship Training School on outreach. Part of their journey includes returning to my old church in the Fort Lauderdale and Miami area, Calvary Chapel, before heading to Cuba and Costa Rica.

Looking ahead, I’ll be traveling for most of the next six weeks with a tour team, visiting Grimsby, Bradford, Albania, Kosovo, and Kent.

The Albania and Kosovo leg will be in partnership with SEND, a mobilisation movement within YWAM focused on activating believers to live missionally, both locally and globally. Much of this time will be centred on evangelism and larger gatherings, with the goal of reaching some of the most unreached nations in Europe with the Gospel.

Prayer Requests

Please be praying for me and our team:

  • Protection, energy, and boldness as we travel over the next six weeks

  • Open doors and receptive hearts for the Gospel

  • Albania and Kosovo, for a genuine move of God, new believers, and disciples raised up for the nations

Thank you for your continued prayers and support. It really means a lot and makes a real difference.

Grace and Peace,

Cameron
